state of the Bride and Bridegroom.
The Pelamin
or wedding dais is the most important event
besides the akad nikah (the marriage
contract) in a traditional Malay wedding.
The bride and groom are referred to as the
"Raja Sehari" or "Royals for the day" and
royal colours like yellow are often used. |
